New Year, New Project! - January 4, 2013

Happy New Year! We would like to once again thank all of you for generously donating to help us provide books for the Guardian Angel School that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. That project was a huge success!
We are wasting no time moving onto our next project as there are so many organizations in dire need of books. For our next event, we will be gathering books for Shelter from the Storm. Shelter from the Storm is an organization in the Coachella Valley of California that provides services for victims of domestic violence. We want to help them stock their library so that the many children that come through their facility have a vast collection of books available to them. In addition, many of these books will be available for the children to keep.
We will be accepting PayPal AND book donations (shipped to the address on our website) until January 21 for this project. This book drive coincides with Tyler's current tour with Ryan Cabrera and Teddy Geiger. We will accept new or very gently used books for children of all ages. If you wish you donate via PayPal, those funds will be used to purchase books. You also have the option of sending gift cards for Barnes and Noble that will also be used to purchase books. If you need book ideas, please visit the T.H. Books for Kids store which has a wide range of books. If you purchase through our store, T.H. Books for Kids receives a percentage of the total sale as a bonus. All donation information, including our mailing address can be found on our website here.
As you know, Tyler is currently on tour with Ryan Cabrera and Teddy Geiger for the month of January. In order to facilitate book donations, T.H. Books for Kids will be accepting physical book donations at the following concert venues:
January 18 – Ventura, CA at Zoey’s Café
January 19 – West Hollywood, CA at Roxy Theatre
January 20 – San Juan Capistrano, CA at The Coach House
January 21 – San Diego, CA at Lestat’s
BOOKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT ANY OTHER SHOWS EXCEPT THE ONES LISTED ABOVE. There will be a T.H. Books for Kids representative at each of the January 18-21 shows to collect books. Tyler is unable to carry books around with him while on tour so please do not bring donations to any other venue. If you are not attending these four shows, please ship your books to the address listed on our website.
Everyone who donates money or books to this project will be entered to win a phone call from Tyler and a merchandise gift basket!
